LUXURY RESIDENTIAL DESIGN

For 10 consecutive weeks, I was asked to design a vacation home for the Rosens, a family of four from New York City, who wanted a relaxing place to enjoy and entertain on their days off in Jackson Hole, WY. Throughout this project, I had to conduct multiple meetings with Lauren Becker-Rosen, analyze both, the site and building for this project, layout and design every room in this 4-story home, and pick every last detail that went into this home, amongst other things. From this, I was not only introduced to an abundance of high end designers and artists, but I was also able to really work outside my comfort zone and create a truly eclectic environment that “hit the nail on the head” when it came to who the Rosens are.
After the initial meeting with the client, we were told that,
“We don’t take anything too seriously … I want it to be wild, fun and feel happy … I would say my style is obnoxious.”
From these 3 statements is where this project was derived from.
