A LITTLE ABOUT ME
From a young age, I have been fortunate to be able to travel the world. My parents always emphasized that there’s more to the world than what we see and know. Different people, cultures, lifestyle, and my favorite, different art. I have been able to absorb and admire everything from the grandness of Versailles in France and the Hagia Sophia in Turkey to simplicity in the ruins of Machu Picchu, Peru and Athens, Greece. Visiting museums such as the Louvre, El Museo del Prado, MoMa and PAMM all have played a role in the designer that I am today.
Although my life has always revolved around design — whether that was by drawing on the walls as a toddler to painting murals for non profit organizations, my very illustrative anatomy notes in high school, or these last four years at SCAD — nothing makes me happier than an outdoors yoga session, a vanilla iced coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts, or a big poké bowl on the beach. (Bonus points always go towards activities I can share with my miniature goldendoodle, Simba.)
I am a creative and detail oriented designer … so much so that I actually have different hand writings for different subjects so that just by flipping through the notebook I can visually see what it is that I am looking at. At a young age, I developed independence and self discipline by attending a military summer camp where I learned life skills such as time management, attention to detail, and leadership skills that I implement into my process when it comes to design.
I BELIEVE THAT GOOD DESIGN CAN INSTILL A POSITIVELASTING IMPRESSION ON THE HUMAN SPIRIT & MAKES THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE.
IT IS MY MISSION AS A DESIGNER TO PROVIDE THAT EXPERIENCE.
