Objective
Design multiple book jackets for a 3 book series as well as a way to package the three.
Concept
Forward Observations Group (FOG) is a group of people that are using the power of social media to give the regular person the opportunity to gain an understanding, and see "behind the scenes", of what the US Military's Special Operation Forces (SOF) do and entail.Phrased as you wouldn’t understand, this project is inspired by the cover page of a national security information file, where at first glance, one would think that they do not have the clearance to know what is in it, but then realize that after opening and reading this book, they have gained a deeper understanding.
Goal
The overall goal for this project was to aid Forward Observations Group (FOG) in bringing this knowledge to the general public while incorporating this culture into it.
Materials
Inspired from the idea of being as transparent as legally possible, these book jackets are made from vellum paper: Vol. 1 and 5 in clear, and Vol. 2 in blue.
